The Frame
When the box arrives, you only receive the frame which includes the phone disassembled in it. Of course, when you receive the DIY version, you have the tools with you to disassemble the phone and put it on the frame.
The frame also has some descriptions in it and labels on each component. In theory, you could take all these components, assemble them and you basically get a working phone, however keep in mind that the battery is replaces with a fake model to prevent any potential damage.
Decorating the XreArt Frame
The frame can be hanged in the wall with a single or two pins.
While it also perfectly fits on a shelf, make sure you take extra care to avoid it falling. The frame will perfectly match your office room, especially if you have decorated other vintage electronics.
How to Convert your old iPhone into a Frame?
If you have an old iPhone laying around, then you can order the DIY tools from the official XreArt website and then you can begin disassembling your iPhone. Of course, XreArt is going to send you all the necessary tools to disassemble your iPhone, however I advice you to use a trustworthy video from YouTube to do it, depending on your iPhone model. Once the iPhone has been disassembled, you can place all the components on the paper according to the instructions.
