Loads of events took place in 2020, affecting every single person and businesses on this planet and Apple is no different. With collaboration with multiple institutes around the US, they were able to provide some new features on their new products which could help battle the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Apple Watch
The Apple keynote begins with Tim Cook sharing some success stories from Apple Watch owners. Apple is taking the Apple Watch a step further by introducing the Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE.
Apple Watch Series 6
It comes with a new sensor which allows you to measure your blood oxygen. It takes 15 seconds to measure it. The best part is that it can take measurements even while you are sleeping periodically. With the new blood oxygen feature, it could reveal potential symptoms of coronavirus.
In terms of hardware, it comes with a dual core processor S6 chip, with 20% better performance than previous version.
Furthermore, you will be able to measure your elevation while climbing to a mountain.
With the new Apple Watch OS 7.0, you get new faces including memoji faces.
In terms of the stripe, Apple is excited to announce the Solo Loop, meaning the strap around the watch is flexible so the entire strap is one piece than two from its predecessor.
The new Apple Watch Series 6 starts at 399$.
Apple Watch SE
Together with the Apple Watch - Apple revealed the Apple Watch SE coming with the S5 chip, making it 2x faster than the Series 3. It comes with the same accelerometer [and more] as the Series 6, starting at just 279$, while the Series 3 starts at 199$.
Apple revealed the Apple Fitness Plus giving you access to several workouts created by professional fitness trainers to your Apple watch. It costs about 9.99/month or 79.99/year. Of course, you will get a 3 months free trial if you purchase any of the new Apple Watches, either Series 6 or the SE.

This marks the 10th year since the first the iPad was released, together with 500 million iPads sold since. The use ranging from medical to entertainment purposes.
iPad OS 14
As the Apple Pen is very popular, apple is excited to reveal scribble, allowing you to use your Apple pen for correction.
iPad 8th Generation
Apple boosted its performance on the most popular iPad series. Now it comes with the bionic A12 chip, featuring 6 core CPU, 4 core GPU making its performance 2x faster graphics than its predecessor - the iPad 7th gen.
The iPad 8th Gen will be available this Friday starting at 399$.
iPad Air
The new iPad Air comes with 5 different colours: Silver, Space Gray, Rose Gold, Green, and Sky Blu.
It comes with a larger 10.9-inch liquid retina display containing with 3.8 million pixels. The display features Full lamination, Antireflective coating and True tone Display. For the first time ever, the Touch ID is integrated on the power button.
In terms of performance, it comes with the new A14 bionic chip, the first chip in industry with 5 nanometre transistors. This allows it to pack in 11.8 billion transistors, 40% higher than the previous A13 bionic chip which featured 7 nanometre transistors. The A14 chip is packed in with a 6-core CPU and a 4-core GPU, 40% faster than its predecessor and 30% increase in graphics performance.
The new iPad Air is coming with a USB-C, the first iPad ever to do so.
The cameras also see a few updates, including the front-facing camera with 7MP and the rear with the same 12MP and 4K 60fps video recording. On top of that, it comes with a stereo speaker.
It starts at 599$ and will be available for purchase this October.
What about the new iPhone 12?
Rumours have confirmed that the new iPhone will be announced later this fall, potentially sometime in October. Nothing about the upcoming iPhone 12 was mentioned during the event, nor about the new iOS 14 public release.
