Noot van de redactie:
If you are finding it hard to find the perfect earbuds choice for you and you are on a budget? That's fine, because with the immerse competition, it's more difficult than ever to find a good pair of earbuds nowadays, especially when every company claims that their earbuds is the best on the market.
Let's be honest, every product has something unique in it. You may have heard the term "Unique Selling Point" or "USP". Think of it as the strongest feature. Some earbuds may stand out because of the long battery life. Others from the sound quality and ANC. What if I told you that I managed to find a pair which scores high from all these example features?
Of course, I will give it to the SuperEQ Q2 Pro. I was lucky to get one of these in my hands and I spend about a few weeks using them as my primary earbuds. Are they as good as I thought to be and should you get them too? Let's dive in and find out!
As part for this review article, I have also created a video where I show live the SuperEQ Q2 Pro:
What's in the box?
- 1x SuperEQ Q2 Pro Case.
- 2x SuperEQ Q2 Pro Earbuds.
- 1x USB to USB Type-C Cable.
- 3x Ear Tips (Small, Medium, Large).
- 1x User Guide.
The design is pretty much classic, but the earbuds don't feel cheap. Although the design is made out of plastic, they feel really good on the touch. On the top of each earbud, it contains the letter "S" which represents the logo of the brand, SuperEQ. I have to say that the earbuds are extremely light and very convenient while wearing them.
The case is also build out of tough plastic, which contains 3 LED lights on the front. This indicates whether the earbuds are fully charged or are still charging. Each earbuds can be placed in the case, where they will stay there with the help of a magnet. The case contains a small bevel on the front to make it easier to open it with your thumb.
Given the small size of the case, it can easily fit within your pocket, as well as charge them fully about 3.5 times on the go!
The Sound Quality
Usually, you are expecting earbuds to have a relatively cheap sound quality if you are used to using headphones. This statement is definitely false when it comes to the SuperEQ Q2 Pro. While the Q2 Pro can be connected to your phone relatively quick, there also boast with some great deep base, making the music very realistic and exciting to listen. All thanks to the 12mm neodymium-magnet drivers built in right behind each speaker.
How to use the SuperEQ Q2 Pro Earbuds?
With the help of the voice assistance, you can use them by tapping on (touch) the surface of each earbud while wearing them. Here are all the functions and gestures you can do:
|Gesture||Left Earbud||Right Earbud|
|Tap once||End Call / Answer Call / Play / Pause|
|Tap Twice||Previous Track||Next Track|
|Tap 3 times||Voice Assistant|
|Tap & Hold for 2 seconds||ANC On / Transparency / Normal / Reject Call / Turn On|
The rows with one cell, means that the functionality is available by performing the gesture on both sides.
The earbuds will automatically turn on when you remove them from the case and enter bluetooth mode. Just make sure you enable bluetooth on your device and look for a device called "SuperQE Q2 Pro" and connect. The Q2 Pro should connect within a few seconds and will be ready for use instantly, thanks to the Bluetooth 5.2V technology built in!
In case you are looking to pair the earbuds to a different device, place the earbuds in the case and leave the cap open. Long touch for 6 seconds either earbud and make sure bluetooth is turned on on the new device. Search for the device called "SuperQE Q2 Pro" and connect.
What about the battery life?
SuperEQ made sure to keep in mind that we tend to listen to the music for a long time. Thanks to this, we can enjoy our favorite music for up to 11 hours with ANC off and 8 hours with ANC on. This is nothing compared to the fact that the case can charge the earbuds to full capacity within 2 hours. With the case, you can get up to about 40 hours of total play time with ANC off and 28 with ANC on. Think about it. If you on average listen to the music for about 6 hours, you won't have to worry about charging your case for about a week!
Thanks to the USB Type-C port, the Case can be charged fast too. Of course, given that SuperEQ doesn't provide us a plug to USB adapter, it's a great idea to charge the case on your computer by connecting the USB to a USB port. Any USB port will charge the case.
I believe the SuperEQ would definitely give you the excitement you are looking for. For about 60$, I think they are a great deal if you are looking to replace your cheaper earbuds or even, replace your headphones. I personally enjoyed when I turned them into my primary headset for a little more than 2 weeks.
What I liked?
Great audio quality for earbuds. Long battery life and great ANC built-in.
What I disliked?
A bit overpriced (SuperEQ often has discounts!).
A bit slippery on hands.
